Howard Georgi

Howard Georgi is a professor at Harvard University. He teaches in the Physics Department and is a leading expert in the field of particle physics. He is best known for his pioneering work on the theory of the strong interaction and for predicting the existence of the quark. He won the Wolf Prize in Physics in 1993 and was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1974.
