Huaca

A huaca is an important object that the people of ancient Peru used in religious ceremonies and to make offerings to the gods. They were usually made of stone or clay, and could be anything from statues of gods, to piles of rocks and stones. People would gather around the huaca to give offerings or to ask the gods for help. People still go to huacas today to make offerings and ask for blessings.
