ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Human ecology

Human ecology is about how people interact with the environment and each other. It looks at the way that people use and shape their environment, like the way people grow crops or build homes. It is also about how people and the environment are both affected by the things that people do. For example, if people use too much water from a lake, it can lead to the lake becoming too polluted and unhealthy. Human ecology is all about making sure that people can peacefully and healthily live in their environment.
