Human trafficking in Vietnam is when people, usually young girls and sometimes boys, are tricked or forced into working in slavery or being sold as sex slaves. This means that they are treated very badly, not allowed to leave and not paid fairly. It is a very bad situation and it is against the law. It is basically like a form of modern-day slavery, except even worse than what happened years ago. People who are involved in human trafficking often promise things to people that they cannot provide and then force them to do things that they would not normally choose to do.
