Hutong

A hutong is like a group of houses that are built close together in a really old part of a city. They usually have small courtyards and narrow streets where people can walk or ride their bikes. It's like a neighborhood where lots of families live together and they all know each other really well. Sometimes, the hutongs can be really crowded and busy, especially when there are lots of people going to the markets or buying things from the street vendors. But it's also a really nice place to live because everyone is close together and they take care of each other, just like in a big family.
