Hybridity

Hybridity is when two different things are mixed together to create something new. For example, you can get a hybrid dog by mixing two different kinds of dogs together. This new dog will have a mix of characteristics from both kinds of dogs. You can also get hybrid fruits and vegetables, which are made by mixing two different kinds of plants together. For example, a tangelo is a hybrid fruit made by mixing a tangerine and a pomelo.
