Hyperbolic growth

Hyperbolic growth is when something grows very quickly. Imagine a roller coaster going up a hill. As it goes up, it's going faster and faster, in a kind of curved shape. That's hyperbolic growth - something grows quickly, but eventually slows down and gets back to normal at the top.
