Hyperbolus

Hyperbolus is a mathematical shape. It looks like a stretched out 'U' and it curves more at the ends than it does in the middle. If you picture an upside down smile, that's a hyperbolus. People use hyperbolus to draw graphs, draw shapes, find the area of a shape, and lots of other fun math things!
