ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hypermodernity

Hypermodernity refers to a time in our world when everything is moving really fast, and things are always changing. Imagine being on a really fast rollercoaster that never stops!

This fast-paced way of life is mostly caused by technology, which is constantly improving and advancing. This means that people are able to do things faster, communicate instantly across the globe, and access information at their fingertips.

In hypermodernity, it seems like everything is possible, and we can achieve things we could never dream of before. But it can also be overwhelming and exhausting because we’re constantly on the go, and there’s always something new to catch up with.

It can be exciting to live in hypermodernity because there’s always something new to explore and discover, but it’s also important to take a break and slow down sometimes to avoid burning out.
