Hypomimia

Okay kiddo, so you know how when you feel happy, you smile and when you feel sad, your face might look different? Well, some people have a hard time making those different faces and it's called hypomimia.

Basically, hypomimia means that a person's face doesn't show as much emotion as they might be feeling inside. They might not show much excitement or happiness or even show that they're feeling down or sad. Sometimes, people with hypomimia might not blink as often or move their face as much as others do, even when they're talking or listening to someone else.

It's important to remember that having hypomimia isn't something that someone can control on their own. It's a symptom of some medical conditions, like Parkinson's disease. So, if you know someone with hypomimia, it's important to be patient and understanding, just like you would with anyone else.
