ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

I-spline

Okay kiddo, have you ever had a ruler in math class? A ruler is a long, straight tool that helps measure things like length or distance. Well, an i-spline is kind of like a ruler for graphs.

When you draw a graph, sometimes you want to make it smooth and curvy, but sometimes you want to make it have sharp turns or corners. To do this, you can use i-splines. An i-spline is a special tool that helps you make a smooth curve, but also lets you control how sharp or smooth that curve is.

Think of it like a pencil that can draw both straight lines and curvy lines. But instead of just drawing one line, an i-spline can draw lots of different lines that all connect together to make a curve. And the really neat thing is that you can adjust these lines to make the curve go exactly where you want it to and look exactly how you want it to.

So, if you ever need to draw a graph and want it to look really nice and smooth, you can use an i-spline to help you!
