Okay kiddo, so let me try to explain what Ins Dakar is in a simple way.
Ins Dakar was a professional vehicle racing event that used to happen every year. It was basically a really long and challenging race, where drivers would race across the African continent, starting at one point and finishing at another.
Now, this was not an easy race. It was over 6,000 kilometers long, and the drivers had to travel across some of the harshest terrains you can imagine - from deserts to rough terrains. It was like they were driving through a big obstacle course.
The first Ins Dakar race happened in 1979 and it continued for three decades. Drivers from all around the world would come and compete, and the winner would become famous for being one of the best off-road drivers in the world.
Sadly, in 2008, there was a very tragic accident during the race, and several people lost their lives. So, the organizers decided to stop the race because it was just too dangerous.
That's the simple version of what Ins Dakar is all about, and why we don't have it anymore.
