ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

IRL eligibility rules

When you want to do something in real life, like play a game or join a club, there are some rules that say who can do it and who can't. These rules are called eligibility rules.

For example, if there is a game that is only for kids who are 7-10 years old, that means only kids who are between the ages of 7 and 10 can play the game. If you are 6 or 11 years old, you can't play the game because you are not eligible.

Some clubs or activities have other eligibility rules too, like you have to be a certain height or weight or know how to do a certain skill. These rules are in place to make sure that everyone who participates is safe and has fun.

It's important to check the eligibility rules before you try to join or do something in real life. That way, you know if you are allowed to participate or not.
