The Ibiza affair is an event that happened in Austria in May 2019, when a video surfaced showing some Austrian politicians and government officials meeting with people who were trying to get them to do something illegal. The video showed members of the Austrian government being offered bribes in exchange for favors. The affair caused the collapse of the Austrian government and led to new elections.
