Ibn Battuta

Ibn Battuta was a man who lived a very long time ago in the 14th century. He was born in Morocco and he loved to travel to different places in the world. He was kind of like a superhero explorer!

When he was younger, Ibn Battuta went on his first big trip all by himself. He traveled through cities and countries he had never been to before, meeting new people and learning new things. Then, he decided to keep traveling and visited many other places like Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Ibn Battuta was really smart and curious. He studied and learned many languages, like Arabic, Persian, and Turkish. He also wrote down all of his adventures in a big book called "The Rihla". This book is really special because it tells us what the world was like back then, and helps us understand what people and places were like a really long time ago.
