Icebreaker Sedov

The Icebreaker Sedov is like a really big boat that's made to break through ice in the ocean. Imagine a toy boat that you play with in the bathtub, but much, much larger. Often times, the ocean will freeze over and turn into a big ice sheet that boats can't travel through. But the Sedov can break through that ice sheet because it's made with a very strong, reinforced metal hull that can push through the ice. It's kind of like a bulldozer but for the water instead of land. The Sedov is really important for scientific research expeditions in the Arctic and Antarctic because it can help scientists get to areas that they couldn't before. Plus, it's a really cool boat to look at because it's so big and strong!
