Edward Snowden is a famous person because he leaked a lot of secrets about governments. He was a computer expert who worked for the US government and noticed that the US was doing bad things like spying on people. He decided to let the world know what was going on, so he put all of the secrets in the newspaper so everyone could see. People were very surprised at what he did and he got in a lot of trouble. He now lives in another country and still shares information about government secrets to help people understand what's going on in the world.
