Iliad

Iliad is a book that tells a story about a big war that happened long long ago. The war was fought by two groups called the Trojans and the Greeks.

The Trojans lived in a city called Troy and were led by a guy named Hector. The Greeks lived in a place called Greece and were led by a guy named Agamemnon.

The war started because a guy named Paris, who was from Troy, took a lady named Helen who was married to a Greek guy named Menelaus. This made the Greeks very angry, so they decided to go to war with the Trojans to get Helen back.

The book tells the story of how the Trojans and Greeks fought many battles against each other. There were many heroes and villains, like Achilles, who was the strongest Greek warrior, and King Priam, who was the leader of the Trojans.

The story has lots of fighting, tricks, and even some gods get involved. Overall, it is a really exciting story about a big war long ago.
