Image development (visual arts)

When we talk about image development in visual arts, we are talking about creating pictures or images that help us to express our ideas or feelings.

Just like when we draw on paper with crayons or markers, we can also make images using digital tools like computer programs or apps on our phones or tablets.

To make an image, we need to first think about what we want to convey. This could be a story, an emotion, or an idea like friendship or nature. We then choose the colors, shapes, and lines that will help us to express this idea.

For example, if we want to make an image about the ocean, we might use blue and green colors to represent the water, and draw squiggly lines to show the movement of waves. We could also add seashells or fish to make it more realistic.

Once we have created our image, we can decide how we want to use it. Maybe we want to print it out and hang it on our wall, or share it on social media to show our friends what we made.
