Crowdsourcing creative work

Have you ever been a part of a big project where everyone has a different idea of how things should be done? That’s kind of like what crowdsourcing creative work is!

When a group of people work together to create something, it’s called “collaboration.” Crowdsourcing is a type of collaboration where lots and lots of people are asked to help out with a project. For example, if your teacher asked everyone in your class to draw a picture of what they think the school mascot should look like, that’s a form of crowdsourcing!

When it comes to creative work, crowdsourcing means asking people to help with things like designing a logo, creating a slogan, or even writing a story. Instead of just asking one person to do it, lots of people are invited to get involved.

Crowdsourcing creative work is a bit like putting together a puzzle. Each person who contributes is like a puzzle piece, and when you put all of the pieces (ideas) together, you get something really cool!

The great thing about crowdsourcing is that it brings together lots of different perspectives and ideas. Each person who contributes has their own unique experiences and ways of thinking, which can lead to some really creative solutions. It can also be a lot of fun to work on something with lots of other people who are just as excited about it as you are!
