Imber friendly fire incident

So, you know how when we play a game with our friends, we have to be really careful not to hit each other by accident? That's kind of like what happened in the "imber friendly fire incident".

Some people who were fighting a big battle in a faraway place called Afghanistan accidentally shot at their own friends, instead of the bad guys they were supposed to be shooting at. This is called "friendly fire" because they were all on the same team, but someone still got hurt.

It was a really sad accident because some of the people who got shot were helping to protect our country, just like superheroes. But sometimes even superheroes make mistakes, and that's why it's really important to always be careful and pay attention when we're trying to do something really important.
