ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Imminent lawless action

Imminent lawless action is when someone is about to do something very bad or dangerous, which can hurt or harm others, and they know it's wrong. The word "imminent" means that it's going to happen really soon, like any moment now. And "lawless" means that it's against the rules and laws that we have in our society to keep everyone safe and happy.

For example, if someone is about to hurt someone else, like punching them or stealing from them, that would be an example of imminent lawless action. The person doing it knows that it's not okay, but they're still about to do it anyways.

Imminent lawless action is considered very serious because it can be dangerous for everyone involved. That's why we have rules and laws to try and prevent people from doing it, and to protect everyone's safety and well-being.
