Immunology

Immunology is the study of how the body helps protect itself from things that can make us sick, like viruses and bacteria. It helps us understand how our body's immune system works. The immune system is made up of cells and special proteins that fight off things that can make us sick. When something enters our body that doesn't belong there, like a virus or bacteria, the immune system will try to stop it and keep us from getting sick. Immunology helps us understand how our body can keep us healthy.
