ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Independent senior living

Independent senior living means that older people can live in their own apartments or houses and take care of themselves without needing much help. They can also do things like cook their own meals, clean their own homes, go grocery shopping, and go out with friends whenever they'd like. This is different from a nursing home or assisted living facility, where seniors may need help with many everyday activities. Independent senior living usually has staff around if the seniors need help with anything, but they have a lot of freedom to live life on their own terms. It's like living in your own house or apartment, but with a little extra help available if you need it.
