ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Independent test organization

An independent test organization is like a team of people who help make sure things are working the way they should. They make sure things are safe, they work properly, and they meet all the standards they should meet. These organizations don't work for any one company, they work for everybody. They do tests to check how well things are working and make sure they are safe. If something is not working the way it should be, they will tell the company and make sure it gets fixed.
