An inductive argument is like a puzzle. You have several pieces that you need to put together to make a complete picture? To use an inductive argument, you take each piece and look at it carefully to try and figure out the bigger picture. Let's say the pieces are like clues. Each clue adds new information to the puzzle and you look at the clues together to try and figure out what the puzzle is. As you look more closely at the clues and put them together, your understanding of the puzzle grows and you make your argument.
