ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Inductivism

Inductivism is a way of learning and understanding based on making observations. It is like making a puzzle. You start with a few pieces and over time, you add more and more pieces to create a bigger picture. This picture can help you understand the world around you better. You observe the pieces (or facts) around you, and then use your experiences to put them together to make a bigger picture. Inductivism is the process of making connections between the pieces of facts that you observe, so that you can figure out the full picture.
