ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Industrial railway

Industrial railways are railroads that are owned and operated by companies and are used to transport materials and goods between businesses. This is different than a regular train, which is usually owned by the government and is used to carry people or cargo over long distances. Industrial railways are usually used to move materials short distances, like between factories or warehouses in the same location. The trains that run on industrial railways are usually electric and they can go on special tracks, called sidings, that are away from normal train tracks. The trains are also much slower than normal trains since industrial railways aren't meant for quick and long-distance travel.
