ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Industrialization

Industrialization is the process of using machines and factories to make goods. It makes it easier to make more goods in a shorter period of time. Instead of one person making a product, now many people work together to make lots of the same product in a factory. Machines do most of the work, so lots of products can be made quickly. This means more people are able to buy products like clothes, toys, and furniture.
