Inertialess drive

Okay kiddo, so you know how when you try to move something heavy like a big rock, it's really hard to get it going and stop it from moving? That's because of something called inertia. Inertia means that an object wants to keep doing whatever it was already doing, whether that's staying still or moving.

Now, imagine if we could make something move without any inertia, which means it would start and stop instantly with no resistance. That's what people mean when they talk about an inertialess drive. Scientists have been researching different ways to create this kind of technology, but so far it's still in the very early stages and there's not enough evidence to prove it works.

Some people believe that an inertialess drive could be used to create spacecraft that move really fast and travel farther than we've ever gone before. But for now, it's still just an idea that scientists are trying to figure out.
