Inerting system

An inerting system is like a special blanket that keeps things safe. When we say "inert," we mean something that doesn't react with other things or catch on fire easily. The inerting system does this by adding a gas (like nitrogen or argon) to the air around things that might catch on fire or explode.

So imagine you have a big box of firecrackers. You don't want them to accidentally catch on fire or explode, so you put them in a special room with an inerting system. This system adds a gas to the air in the room that makes it really hard for the firecrackers to start a fire or explode. It's like the room is wrapped up in a cozy, safe blanket that protects the firecrackers and everything else around them.

Inerting systems are used in lots of places to keep things safe. You might find them in airplane fuel tanks, gas pipelines, or even in the storage tanks at your local gas station. They make sure that flammable materials are stored safely and don't cause any accidents.
