Inflatable space habitat

An inflatable space habitat is kind of like a big, bouncy castle in space - but a lot bouncier! It looks like a giant ball, but inside it has many rooms like a house. With an inflatable space habitat, astronauts can live and work in space. It is filled with air to keep astronauts comfortable and protected from space radiation and temperature changes. So astronauts can stay in space for longer periods of time and travel further away from Earth.
