Info-gap decision theory

Info-gap Decision Theory is a way of making decisions when there is not enough information to be sure of making the best choice. Instead of guessing and hoping for the best, Info-gap Decision Theory looks at your uncertainty and tries to make the best decision even though there is a lot of uncertainty.
To do this, it looks at what could happen if things go wrong and makes sure that if the worst-case scenario (the gap) happens, the worst that can happen won't be too bad. That way, even if things don't go as planned, you can still be sure that you won't be dealing with a crisis.
In short, Info-gap Decision Theory helps you make the best decision possible even when you don't have enough information.
