ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Informal fallacy

An informal fallacy is when someone makes an argument that seems to make sense, but actually has a flaw in its logic. In other words, it's an argument that even though it might sound convincing, it's actually wrong.
For example, if someone says, "There are only two colors in the world - black and white," this would be an informal fallacy because in reality, there are lots of colors, not just two.
