So, the information rate is how much information you can process or transfer in a given amount of time. It can be measured in different units like toys per second or pages per minute or even in bits per second when we are talking about digital information.
When you are using your internet connection, the information rate is how quickly your computer can send and receive information, like when you are downloading a movie or streaming a video. The faster your internet connection, the higher the information rate!
