Insha'allah means "God-willing" in Arabic. It is a phrase that expresses the belief that our future plans and actions are ultimately subject to God's will. Imagine you are building a sandcastle at the beach and you want to keep it there forever. You can say "I'm going to protect my sandcastle forever!" but you know that you can't because the tide will eventually come and wash it away. Similarly, we have hopes and plans for the future but we don't control what will happen. Insha'allah reminds us that we should always have faith in God's plans and trust that whatever happens is what is best for us.
