ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Instruction unit

Imagine you are trying to teach a robot how to do something. Let's say you want the robot to make a sandwich. But the robot doesn't know what to do first, what to do next, or how to put everything together.

That's where the instruction unit comes in. The instruction unit is the part of the robot that tells it what to do step-by-step. It's like a recipe for making a sandwich.

First, the instruction unit tells the robot to get bread, then to put peanut butter on one slice and jelly on the other slice. Next, the instruction unit tells the robot to put the two slices of bread together to make a sandwich. Finally, the instruction unit tells the robot to cut the sandwich in half.

The instruction unit basically gives the robot a set of directions to follow, in order to complete a task. And it's important that the instructions are given in the right order, or the robot won't be able to do its job.

So, the instruction unit is like the boss of the robot, telling it what to do, how to do it, and in what order. Just like your mom or dad might do when they give you instructions for doing chores at home!
