Insurance in the United States

Insurance in the United States is like a way to protect you in case something bad happens. It's a way of sharing the cost of something that is really expensive. For example, if you get sick and need to go to the doctor, each visit can cost a lot of money. With insurance, your doctor sends the bill to your insurance company instead of you having to pay for it out of your own pocket. The insurance company will pay for part of the bill and you will have to pay for the rest. That way, you don't have to pay for all of it and it makes it cheaper for you.
