Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control

Integrated pollution prevention and control (IPCC) is like trying to keep our house clean. You know how mommy and daddy ask you to clean your room and put your toys away? That's what IPCC is like for the big factories and businesses.

You see, these factories and businesses make things like cars, toys, and food. But when they make them, they also create pollution, like smoke, bad smells, and chemicals that can hurt the environment and people.

So, IPCC is a way for the factories and businesses to clean up after themselves and stop making as much pollution. They have to make plans and use special things, like filters and machines, to help stop the pollution from going into the air and water.

It's important to use IPCC because we want to make sure the environment stays healthy and safe, and it helps keep us and our friends healthy too. Plus, when the factories and businesses make less pollution, they save money on cleaning it up and people are happier and healthier because they don't have to breathe in as much bad stuff.
