Integrated nested Laplace approximations

Integrated nested Laplace approximations (INLA) is a way of finding solutions to complicated problems. This is done by breaking down the complicated problem into a bunch of small, simpler problems. You then solve each of these small problems, and add up all of the solutions from the small problems to get the solution for the original complicated problem. INLA is a quick and efficient way to get a good estimate for the complicated problem.
