Inter-Korean summits

Inter-Korean summits are special meetings between the leaders of North Korea (called the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, or DPRK) and South Korea (called the Republic of Korea, or ROK). In these meetings, the leaders of both countries talk about how they can work together to make peace between the two countries so they can stop fighting. They also talk about how they can help each other become stronger and more prosperous. By cooperating, they hope to make their countries better for everyone.
