ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Inter-Services Intelligence activities in India

Okay kiddo, imagine you have two groups of friends, let's call them the "Good group" and the "Bad group". Sometimes these groups don't get along and they might do things to spy on each other or try to find out secrets about each other.

In India, there is a group called the Inter-Services Intelligence, or ISI for short. They are kind of like the "Bad group" because they work for the Pakistani government and sometimes try to get information that could be helpful to them, even if it's not good for India.

The Indian government has their own intelligence agency called Research and Analysis Wing, or RAW for short. They're like the "Good group" because they work for India and try to protect the country by finding out secrets about other countries that could hurt India.

Sometimes the ISI and RAW spy on each other to try and get information. This can include things like hacking into computer systems or trying to recruit people who might have useful information. However, this kind of spying is not allowed and it's considered wrong.

So, while the ISI and RAW might be like rival groups of friends trying to get one over on each other, it's important to remember that everyone should try to play fair and not do anything sneaky or harmful to others.
