ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Interactionism

Interactionism is an idea that says that people's behavior is shaped by the people they interact with. It's like a two-way street: we are all influenced by our friends, family, teachers, classmates, and people we work with, and in turn, we influence them. It's like when you play a game with other people – everybody changes each other's behavior and shape how things end up turning out. So, interactionism is all about how we interact and influence each other.
