Interdisciplinarity

Interdisciplinarity is when people from different subjects (like science, language, art, math, etc) work together. It helps people make connections between different subjects. For example, if someone wanted to create a play, they might talk to a scientist to learn more about the environment and how it might affect the characters. Or someone might talk to an artist to get ideas for how the play should look. By working together, everyone can learn more about their own subject and about the other subjects too!
