ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Interim executive

An interim executive is like a superhero who comes to a rescue when a company or organization needs help. Kind of like how Superman helps people in need. When something goes wrong in a company or organization, like when the boss leaves, or there's a crisis, the interim executive steps in to fix things. They might help with managing the employees or sorting out finances, just like how Superman solves problems in his own way. Think of the interim executive as a temporary leader who knows what needs to be done and helps to make everything better until a permanent boss can be found.
