Internal affairs (law enforcement)

Internal Affairs is an important part of law enforcement. It's a group of officers who investigate other police officers. They make sure that police officers are doing their job correctly and that they are following the law. They will investigate if a police officer does something wrong, like breaks the law or mistreats someone. They collect evidence and talk to witnesses, then decide if the police officer did something wrong. If they did, the officer could face punishment, like getting fired. Internal Affairs helps make sure that police officers are working to keep people safe and obeying the law.
