The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is an organization that makes rules and regulations for airplanes. It makes sure that planes flying all around the world are safe and fly in the right way. It also makes sure that airports, airlines and people like you and me who work in the aviation industry are safe, too. ICAO makes sure all airplanes follow the same rules and regulations no matter where in the world it is flying. This helps make air travel safer and easier.
