International Fixed Calendar

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a calendar before? It's a way of keeping track of days and months so we know when it's time to celebrate holidays, birthdays, or other events. The international fixed calendar is a special kind of calendar that some people think might be a good idea to use all around the world.

Now, the international fixed calendar works a bit differently than the one we're used to. Instead of having months with different numbers of days, like 28, 30, or 31, every single month in this calendar has exactly the same number of days: 28. That means every month is exactly the same length! This might seem kind of weird, but it would make things like scheduling appointments or planning events a lot easier because you always know when a certain date falls.

Another cool thing about this calendar is that it always starts on the same day of the week. For example, let's say that January 1st falls on a Monday in one year. Well, in the international fixed calendar, that means January 1st will ALWAYS fall on a Monday, no matter what year it is! This might not seem like a big deal, but it can be really helpful for things like scheduling work weeks or school days.

Overall, the international fixed calendar is just one idea for how we could change the way we keep track of time. Who knows, maybe someday everyone will be using it!
