ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

International Students Day

International Students Day is a special day to celebrate all the students who come from different countries to study in other countries. Like when you go on a vacation to a different country, but instead of just visiting, international students move there to learn new things and get an education.

Imagine you live in a country called China and you want to learn about science in a place called America. You pack your bags, say goodbye to your family and friends in China, and fly all the way to America to start your studies. You are now an international student!

International Students Day is celebrated to recognize the challenges and importance of being an international student. People celebrate by sharing stories, experiences, and achievements of international students. This day also reminds us to be kind to each other, especially towards students who are studying in a foreign country and may be feeling lonely or homesick.

In short, International Students Day is a special day to celebrate and support students from all around the world who choose to travel to different countries to continue their education.
