ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Internuncio

Okay kiddo, so you know how when two people want to talk to each other, they usually just go ahead and do it, right? But sometimes, when it's really important or they're from different places, they might need someone to help them communicate. And that's where an internuncio comes in.

An internuncio is like a messenger or a go-between. They're kind of like a helper who makes sure that everyone is getting the right message and that things are going smoothly. They might be sent by one person or group to talk to someone else on their behalf, or they might be in charge of arranging a meeting or other things like that.

Internuncios are often used in important situations, like when countries need to talk to each other about something, or when religious leaders want to communicate with each other. They're usually very experienced and knowledgeable, and they know how to handle tricky situations and make sure everyone is happy.

So overall, an internuncio is sort of like a helper who makes sure that communication between two groups or people goes smoothly and everyone gets the message they need. Pretty cool, huh?
